In the post I just put up about lifestream blogging, I mentioned having to possibly switch webhosts at some undefined point in the future. Feel free to leave suggestions as to which host(s) I should look at. While my current host is decent, my big issue has been connecting to different services (or features, like trackbacks) on the Internet due to their access limitations. I can request exceptions to be allowed through, but I’m not sure how many I’m allowed, and I’m not sure which are currently active or not.
I suppose I might look at a new domain name as well, but as for what that might be, I have no idea.

I use Web Hosting Buzz (www.webhostingbuzz.com). It’s cheap, reliable (thus far) and easy to use. They also allow trackbacks.
WHB at least looks like a good option. My current host costs a bit more and doesn’t give quite as much.
Have you ever had any issue with any WP plugins not updating correctly? That is something I get often with my host.
I’m still with GoDaddy. I also experience the trackback issues - is that the cause? I planned on looking into that sometime this month…
I recently renewed with them. I had postponed renewal for a long while. I received a telephone solicitation about a week before my hosting package was through. The renewal had a reasonable discount, so I went with it. I think that it wouldn’t be reasonable to move to a new host until I’m starting to do something a bit more significant with my page.
When I had been looking at hosts I had thought BlueHost would be okay, but I haven’t done any hunting since. Their rates still seem to be the same, and if I remember properly, they allow different forms of media hosting as well.
