I’m not sure if I should use “Happy” or “Merry” preceding Christmahanukwanzakah… perhaps I should say “Meppy” or “Merpy”. Oooo… I like “Merpy”.
So make that a Merpy Christmahanukwanzakah to all.
Yesterday I showed Meghan how to add movie reviews and the like on the site, starting with We’re No Angels so expect to see more from her.
After she added that, Andy stopped by. We exchanged some minor gifts (a Grounds For Thought coffee mug and a Toothpaste For Dinner t-shirt for him and a Firefox t-shirt and a toy dragon for me) and then went to Arabica for a couple of hours and played rummy and caught up on things. After that, we came back home to get ready for dinner at a restaurant in Beachwood. We got family style, and there was more than enough food. And it was delicious. When we came back home and everyone got a gift from Santa: matching Christmas (Santa and reindeer) pajama pants to wear on Christmas morning.
Christmas morning involved waking up and exchaning and opening gifts. I got plenty of things that I needed/wanted, including:
- a George Foreman grill (with waffle and skillet)
- a cold brew coffee maker
- Stargate SG1 Season 4
- The Critic DVD series
- The Belgariad series (by David Eddings)
- Age of Empires 3
- a glow-in-the-dark dragon puzzle
- a “cute” “Merry Christmas” dragon
- a Patton Oswalt 2-CD set
- and a couple other things I can’t recall right now
I’ll let Meghan list her items if she wants. I need to go eat some food, so that Meghan and I can go for a walk before we head over to my aunt and uncle’s place for a family gathering.
